Global Security Challenge Extends Application Deadline to 6 August 2010


SECURECOMM 2010, the 6th International ICST Conference Series on Security and Privacy in Communication Networks, will host the 2010 Asian Regional Final of Global Security Challenge in Singapore on 7-10 September, and invites applications for the competition.

GSC is the world's leading security innovation competition supporting start-up and small-and-medium-size companies through reward funding acquired from sponsorship contributions donated by governmental and regulatory organs and private entities. The 2010 Annual Global Security Challenge Competition will offer several cash awards up to $500,000 USD in grants, provided by the Technical Support Working Group of the US Government and other sponsors.

In addition the entrants all get the opportunity to showcase their products to investment parties interested in further development of their products and companies. Deadline extended for Global Security Challenge to 6 August 2010. The Global Security Challenge has announced that the deadline for submissions to the 'Best Security Start-Up' and 'Best Security SME' categories has been extended until 6 August 2010. The deadline has been extended due to demand and to provide applicants more time to complete their submissions. Please note that there will be no further extensions to this deadline.
